I was ready to give this book 5 stars during the first half unfortunately the book kinda fell flat for me after that 😔

I think it just dragged on a bit too long and the middle part could’ve been a loootttt shorter

However I still think that this book is incredibly well researched and written, the way that r f kuang writes about language and words absolutely changed my life she’s sooo good 😭😭😭
