I enjoy feeling desolate when reading books and this hit that mark perfectly.

Jack is one of my favorite of the Wayward Children. I love the setting and the way her story is told.

Like Circe, this hits a part of the feminine experience that breaks my heart. It feels real and true and will absolutely destroy you emotionally.

Like all of Hailey Piper's, the prose is evocative. The world she creates is interesting and the characters all feel like people I want to know. I love the relationships in this book.

this book is absolutely lovely and grotesque in all of my favorite ways. I wish it hadn't taken me so long to get it. it's the strange sort of comfort monsters and monster lovers find in dark, unspeakable places.

This was a nice, very light and fluffy book for kids. There is little to no conflict. It's mainly just a fun girl meets pegasus and has a low stakes, children's party adventure.

It is a bit of a slow burn, but it's short and worth every moment of build up.
