Carry Me Through Christmas by Rachel Holm

♡ I absolutely loved this book !!! It was as if I was in this Christmas festival and I enjoyed it as much as Holly Ridgeians. The book really sets a Christmasy atmosphere and my favourite tropes were there like rivals-to-lovers, forced proximity, forbidden romance, only one bed and some open door spicy scenes, and the list goes on. I also enjoyed seeing the two characters getting together, they were soooo cute !!! In general, I don't really like a third act break-up, but this one was really essential and made the end even cuter.
♡ You're looking for a book that will make you fell like you are in a small town at a Christmas festival and where people cross the line around steamy scenes? Go for this one. It has them all !!!

♡ First of all, I wanted to thank the author for sending me an ARC of her incredible novel. ♡

♡ I read this book in only a day as it was sooo addictive. I loved how much we saw the secondary characters. They had their own personality and were super important in the story. And I loved how understanding, respectful and gentle Era was!!! The book also has an amazing disability representation with the FMC and feels realistic. However, even if I felt the plot twist, I was clearly not ready for it... I absolutely loved this novel, the characters, either main or secondaries, and the plot as well as how smooth and fluid my reading was. Looking forward to reading her other books!
♡ If you're looking for a Christmas book with disability representation and a man who is hiding something, stop searching and read this one!!!

♡ This book took me by surprise. I usually don't read books set in a post-apocalyptic world because that's just not the kind of book I like. But this one? I loved it. And add four morally gray characters? There is nothing we can do but love this novel. I really enjoyed reading it, except that their relationship was too much of an insta-love. I would have preferred more tension. I also wish there were more moments with the main characters, I feel like we haven't seen them enough. But again, that's my opinion and it didn't really impact my reading. I cannot wait to read more novels by the author.

I already knew what type of ending their relationship will have, but I really liked to follow them through everything they had to face. And damn! So many things could have prevented them to end together but they were so drawn and fond of each other than nothing could stop these two to have their happily ever after.
♡ If you are looking for a with Romeo and Juliet retelling set in a mafia world and two badass MCs that will stop at nothing to be together, go read this incredible duet!
