The characters are so thinly veiled as trying to be Harry, Meghan, and Diana I honestly felt dirty reading this. I kept reading expecting the characters to morph into their own but they never did. They remained flimsy and 2D the whole book, expecting me to project real life people into them to give them any sort of depth.
There was also zero chemistry between the main couple I found myself asking why she didn't just.. leave. Their insta love did not feel worth it.

The magic system was really cool. Unfortunately I wish the plot and editing was as strong. Would be interested in more within the same universe however if it had a stronger focus on magic.
