I really liked this book. I found myself reading it much later than I should have, I just couldn't put it down.

This book is magic. The world building is on another level. The blurb likes to tell you that this is a romance, when very little of the book actually is. Every time I opened the book I was taken to another world, one of wonder that I didn't want to leave. The book was also given a proper ending, and I'm happy that it wasn't drug out into series. Overall I would suggest this book to anyone who loves imagination and intriguing writing.

This book was trash and not in the good sense. I loved the previous books in this series and was so excited to get my hands on this one. It's overly full of descriptive text about bells, straps, boots, and hair accessories, but falls flat on the descriptions during the scenes that need it. The first three books in this series were written years ago, and the smut was descriptive and made you clench your knees together. She lost her touch with this book, it was boring and I almost couldn't finish it. Characters I used to love just lost their sheen, and the new characters weren't likable at all.

I admit I started reading the Witcher books because the show is so amazing. I wanted to know what was coming next, and what parts of the books have been left out or modified. I liked getting to know Ciri a bit more, but Yennifer was downright unlikeable sometimes. This book was pretty slow-paced and jumped around from plot to plot too much. I liked it but didn't love it. I'm putting this series down while I read something that makes me want to stay up late reading.

I just love Dakota Cassidy books, they are a little guilty pleasure of mine. The Accidental series is always loads of fun. This one was fun because we get a story from a past side character, Ingrid. She is already involved with the OOP's girls, so she takes what happens to her in stride as she knows the girls will take care of her. If you want a quick, cozy read with plenty of laughs and romance, pick this one up.
