Another Tarah DeWitt's book that i loved. I think i should add her to my auto-read author.
From my experience, i always enjoy her writing style who always inserts comedy into her stories, but the main idea and the plot of the story still get to the point.
When i read this book, i remember to another book with some vibes "the simple wild" it has same conflict but make it lighter.
when i read the beginning of the book i think i will be bored, because tarah intoduces her fmc as a brokenheart women after her divorce, and this doesn't sounds interesting to me. But when i read to the next chapter when Tait had to face a situation that required her to return to idaho and meet with her father's family it begin to fun to read. especially after henry showed up and falling in love to Tait at the first sight. shamelessly admit that  mmc in tarah dewitt's book always made me fall in love with them. I do enjoy how Tait slowly make up with her family, the way she had kinship with henry. how their relationship develops, from strangers to friends and lovers.
I will say this with a slight blush, i think i need more spicy scenes in this book. Even so, I feel enough too, but if we get more spicy scenes would be better.
The end really impressed me it made me aware of the meaning of a home for people. Home is a place where we can feel comfortable and feel loved by the people around us

After a long time this book was on my tbr, finally ... i could read it, i had my big curiosity about this book and thankfully, this book didn't dissapoint me at all.
I've read several books retelling of Hades and Persephone and so far I really enjoy the story. It's pretty obvious that i'm really into greek mytology stories.
I'm gonna say it, this book is totally worth the hype. The plot is amazing. I like how Scarlett makes her world building, combining the contemporary world and the fantasy world
I think many people are interested in reading this book because this book offers a romance story about Hades and Persephone with a new nuance. And this couple indeed deserves to be liked.
Their chemistry in this book can't be said to be perfect, but it doesn't fail to make me blush. And don't forget the spicy scenes. It really make me feel hot and and gasp of the fresh air.
If you're looking for adult romantasy story this book is definitely for you.

And i think it's still acceptable for me

After a long long time, finally i finished the second book of SK Ali's halal romance. Love from mecca to medina is next book of Adam-Zayneb's journey. As i've read the first book and i loved adam and zayneb so much so that i gladly following their story after nikah.
Thoughts that i can't change after reading both books is how lovely Adam is, he's such a green flag man, the way he treats zayneb with his love languages has succesfully made me swoon. How passionate he is to zayneb.
In the second book SK Ali write it with more adult content, because it tells about life after marriage for Adam and Zayneb, and i totally okey with that. Honestly i kinda enjoying it 🤭
But still the adult content isn't explicit like other spicy book i've read. Because it's a halal romance book !
Reading this book feels very close to my life as a Muslim girl. And i can't help but set high standards for my future husband based on Adam's character, except his character thst i dislike. when he was insensitive to Zayneb's feelings when they went on Umrah 🤧
Their umroh journey was supposed to be a memorable and happy moment for them, but it turned into a moment that caused a lot of anxiety for the readers because the homewrecker who always feels right with everything she did, which without her realizing it almost destroyed Adam and Zayneb's wedding.
Sorry to say, Sarinah. although You are described as a perfect woman like an angel, for me you are a thorns  in a beautiful love story that needs to be removed.😑
I expect more for the ending, but i didn't dissapoint me either.
