This book?? I feel the character building was really shallow. The main characters are kind of characatures of real people, and even though this was supposed to be emotional, it really didn’t get there. Poppy was happy the whole way through. There was no grief or struggle that would’ve made her happy times feel more realistic. And the timeline was rushed. We didn’t get any relationship building at the beginning or when they reunited. And the fact that he died at 27??? The whole point was for him to live a good life without her. Killing him young defeats that. It was so annoying.
