You'd Look Better as a Ghost by Joanna Wallace

Going into this read, I knew that this was not everyone's cup of tea, but I gotta say I had a great time! I tend to like unlikeable characters anyway but I thought this cast of characters were weird and comical. I could tell right away that it was a British author because of the dry humor, the pacing reminded me of The Thursday Murder Club a bit. I was truly not expecting the twist at the end and don't know if I loved it but was shocked no matter what!

Loved, loved, LOVED! Don't know if it is because of my own daddy issues but this one hit me HARD, like sobbing, hard! Loved the setting, the characters, the romance, all of it, just YES!

I LOVE Ashley Poston so much!!! Her writing is so calming to me in a weird way. I love her concepts and how they are different from normal contemporary romances.

I absolutely LOVED this! I have seen Fern on different panel shows and Taskmaster so I was really excited to read this. She is so funny and blunt, and has such a wild life story I enjoyed this so much!

Super fun YA! Reminded me of The Inheritance Games/Goblet of Fire/Hunger Games. And very good commentary on some societal issues. Liked it a lot!

I mean it is SJM so I am going to enjoy it but I just can't seem to get into Crescent City as much as ACOTAR or Throne of Glass. But again if it is SJM it will be good!

This book felt like it was a billion pages long. I still enjoyed it but I was struggling with the length and I was just sooooo annoyed with Violet the whole time, I didn't know my eyes could roll that far back in my head. I still enjoyed the story and love the world, but the pacing felt slow at times and I just had some struggles (now this could have been just me personally, with reading at this time. Or it could be the book, but we will never know) I of course will still be continuing the series because I do enjoy it
