A complex and compelling story. However, some of the stylistic choices make reading and comprehension difficult at points. 

It was interesting and eye opening to read about how the mundane can be used against you. Any deviation from the established norm is seen as an affront to decency itself and to the cause. 

The women’s solidarity was beautiful to read.

Left with more questions than I had before reading the book but I think that’s a good thing. A good scientific book forces you to think about new things and perspectives. 
Learning is a lifelong quest :)
