This was incredible. I cannot believe I have to wait 1-2 years for the next one!!! Just something I can’t explain stopping the 5 star feel but it was still amazing!

Such a beautiful story! So different from the other books in this series, as it tackles real emotional issues that people face everyday. It was so beautifully done, Yrenne Towers is one of the purest characters I’ve ever met, she is incredible. As was the world imagery created from this book, stunning Sandy, Egyptian like place that was stunning!

I’m quite literally speechless. That may have been one of best books I have ever read. It’s giving 6 star vibes. But my heart is shattered

Wow, wow, wow! This was incredible!! The plot, the risks, the twists it was insane! Such a good fast paced book I literally couldn’t put it down! So glad arobynn is dead, which he suffered more! And so happy that Lysandra is free, she’s one of my new favourite characters, she’s so funny and her relationship with Aelin is amazing. I’m so glad Dorian is freed and I’m so interested to see where is story arc goes!! Rowan as always is hot as fuck and I love him, when they get to Terrasen and she says that Rowan smells like home😭😭

Wow I’m speechless. The last 200 pages of this book were just wow. The plot twists, the reveals, I can’t believe it. My heart is in two pieces for Dorian, I can’t believe that happened. All the scheming and planning was just phenomenal. Celeana’s story was incredible, I loved how much she tried to get her powers in control, but in true Celeana fashion, she excelled the most when someone needed her. Her and Rowan together are incredible, and so insanely powerful and I can’t wait to see where their story goes. Manon was also bad ass, I love Abraxos, he gives me toothless vibes and I’m here for it. I could write an essay on how great this book it but I’ll leave it at that!

Loved this! It was even better than the first one and was just so utterly beautiful in that typical Rebecca Ross fashion. The story was so interesting and I was hooked on every page! Adaira and Jack will forever hold a place in my heart, as will Sidra and Torin for different reasons. The spirit story line in the book was phenomenal, I’ve never read anything like it. I also didn’t see a lot of the plot twists coming, especially about Bane! But it’s as just great, and I was so pleased with the ending.

Again this was great! Such an interesting way to take the story that I never would have guessed it from assassins blade! The trails was great and the training was even better, I love both Dorian and Chaol and I think they both deserve her, I sense a love triangle forming but regardless I think they both really care for her. Her friendships where great as was the magic reveal, I really love the story but something was just stopping it of that 5 star feeling, I can’t pinpoint what though…

I really enjoyed this book! Was such a good start to the TOG series and I was hooked from the get go. I loved the characters even if I did find some of the plot twists obvious, I thought it was very clear who betrayed her and I can’t believe she didn’t see it coming, or at least figure it out at the end! Sams death was a really heartbreaking but it didn’t hurt me like i expected, I think i Just didn’t believe it was true. The assassin and the desert was my favourite short story, I hope we see more of the master in the later books!
