The worst kind of pop science book that takes a single cultural trait and boils it into down into a trite, repetitive stereotype while using bs, no citations science sounding prose to make it sound authoritative. I am 100% convinced that this book is racist against the Danish. Have a single star because I like the interior design tips.

Interesting and compelling story about how Mormonism grinds down women and robs them of their personalities. Despite this I am lowering this down to two stars because the book completely glosses over Jen Shah's despicable crimes and makes her seem fun. If Gay was worried about legal issues in that regard then she just should not have mentioned Shah at all.
