I think this collection exists better as spoken word. I found it staunch and long winded. Sometimes the alliterations felt too much for the readers mind. While I respect the creativity in taking historical references and recreating them, it wasn’t what I was looking for and felt the book could have been edited down or better exist as two separate collections.

Wasn’t at all what I was expecting. Easy to read, intriguing from the first page and a hell of a twist ending

Absolutely loved the characters. They were charming, real, quirky and nuanced. I felt like I was catching up with old friends and became invested in the characters. Very satisfying and upbeat.
