This is my unpretentious, favorite book of all time. I’ve read it an uncountable amount of times and it’s my ultimate comfort read. I first read it way before it was made into a movie (which is the most disappointing thing ever. pls read the book instead for many reasons), in 5th grade. It was my first Asian representation I had come across and I relate(d) to LJ so much. I love this book with all my heart

I can’t remember any of the poems I read because nothing was great to be memorable. I felt no emotions reading this, but it is a very aesthetic book. I love Orion, but this is basically tumblr poetry which is not what I’m trying to read. I would only recommend getting it as a coffee table book

I want to love Dickinson so badly and there's no doubt of her talent. However, I have a hard time understanding her ideas more than any other. I think her poems are just not my type of poetry. I tried so hard and I am actually dnf now because I get really frustrated :(

It was good, but easily forgettable. I’ve never read an anthology before and while I loved the idea of this book, I don’t think I like multiple short stories in a book like this.

she was insufferable, but unfortunately relatable a few times. also i really loved the first half of it, thinking it would become one of my favorites. however, i wasn’t very impressed with the last half which kind of ruined it for me.
