had an anxiety attack reading the first 60 pages

her dad did not deserve forgiveness!! i’d never speak to my dad again if he acted like that!!!

i neeed more books about sports and crazy cunty female athletes who care more about their sport than anything else
heath was a little too much like you don’t own her give her some space
the least believable part of this book is that kat’s super poor family owns a house on lake michigan in the north shore suburbs!!!! i don’t care how close to wisconsin you claim to be, there is not a single lakefront property that is not worth millions of dollars!!!

“whenever you’re done laughing, i’d like to remind you that barbie is not going to be limited by what society- a society controlled by men- thinks is achievable. and if that makes you nervous, too bad. now open a goddamn job ticket and get working on barbie’s fucking dream house”
i love that this author was like “this is not a biography it’s fiction i had to pick a side and i picked the woman” because yeah id like to believe it’s true as well
also i can’t believe they named barbie and ken after their children and then were shocked their son was bullied in school?? barbie and ken are dating???

i just can’t wrap my brain around the fact that people willingly went on ships… it sounds so unpleasant and also deathly 98% of the time

one of those books that is so poorly written it makes me think maybe i could write a book because they just be publishing anything these days
characters were one-dimensional, all drama/tension was forced, dialogue was stupid etc etc

journalism is a disease…
seriously insufferable main character like she had absolutely no respect for anyone’s feelings at all and thought she was too good for everyone
the story itself was fun, good beach read

the nice guys rewatch loading…

casey mcquiston’s dedication to standing up for nepo babies is so brave really

“foreward by david grann” yeah say less
book so good i’m thinking i gotta hit up a natural history museum
