frieda mcfadden is kind of the colleen hoover of thrillers but i mean that as a compliment

if you’re lookin for a good romance, look further
if you’re looking for a bookie that feels like your work friend that you don’t like telling you about their life, you’ve found the right book
genuinely made me chuckle a few times, but did not understand the motivations behind any characters’ actions

this series is soooo millennial… we get it they’re GAY and all their friends are GAY and their friend’s 12 year old daughter is also GAY

(that being said i really liked it and will be reading the third one)

ppl who rate this book higher than one star need to get their head examined….

5’0 girl x 6’5 guy???? logistically speaking… that’s too much.. like that doesn’t work

i reallllyyy hate when a book i don’t think will be supernatural turns out to be supernatural… like i think i would know if that nonsense was happening in MY bloomington
i would recommend this book to anyone that has strong ties to the town on bloomington, if not: skip

this book was fuckedddd… but somehow i liked it more than the author’s alex morgan self-insert fan fiction??? i’m confused by that too
also parker was waaaay too cool about all this…
