Slowburn. I got tired of it by the end. I liked the first book better. The whole discussion about Jacob's anxiety was OK but I realized I do not like characters who do not communicate.

I mean Alexis and Daniel (Book 1) also had a similar trope about not being open with each other, but I just found it frustrating also because Briana was supposed to be open and confident, so I really don't know how she couldn't go straight to the guy and just tell him how she felt.

Not a love story. Suspense, thriller, murder, death, cheating, some sex scenes, weird. Sick lady upstairs vibes.

I feel like I've read something like this before.... Writing was ok. It was a really quick and easy read hence the 5 stars. I thought it would turn out that the husband was a bad person haha the author could have made it even more twisted.

I am quite surprised that this was waay easier to read compared to FW. I loved the story. I was taken for a ride up, down, and all around. I also loved how the love scenes are not too in your face. I still do not understand how these people fell in love with each other in the beginning. But I'm here for the story. I am so happy I finally read this and can't wait to read the next books.

Had a hard time reading all the way to the end, had to skip some parts. The writing style made it difficult for me. It seemed like he was doing speech-to-text and I felt like I could hear him. This is why I usually prefer to read fiction and listen to non-fiction. Nevertheless, I'm giving this book 5 stars because some stuff that I was confused about were made clear, like the discussions about remote viewing.

Will definitely listen to the audiobook.

I have a lot of questions.

Why didn't Rhysand read the queens' minds? Why did they tell them about Velaris? That was a very stupid mistake.

And why didn't Feyre stay with Rhys after he got attacked? He was supposed to be super powerful but he almost got killed. From that point in the story, I wasn't sure.... But it's all still pretty good.

The ending, I had to re-read it a few times to understand what was happening.

Awesome story. On to the next ❤️

I am so glad I finally finished this book. It felt too long and it was all about wars here and there. There were some parts I liked. There was even one part towards the end that made me CRY.

Overall, it is still good, but I liked the first 2 books better. Will probably continue with Frost and Starlight in the winter.

Love Justin. Dislike Emma. Don't have time for all her drama. How many times did they mention "small?"
