I don't think I quite know how to feel about My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness. It's such a brave piece of writing, the author is really baring her heart on basically every page. Maybe I just don't quite relate enough to the content to really just get it, I don't know. Somehow it just didn't land. I think she explored the themes she tackled quite well. Reading it made me feel sad, and reminded me how depressed I can get sometimes, which I think was the one place where I really connected with the author - my feelings on sex and intimacy and love are very different, and so too are my related hangups and traumas.

I think this book is probably very good, but I can't tell because I don't think it was quite written for me.

It's not often that I'll just sit down with a book of poems and blow through the whole thing in one sitting, but that is basically what happened with Rapture. This book captured some of the raw emotions inherent in love very viscerally, and the extended use of natural imagery was very pleasant to read and made me wonder what enchanted forest Duffy met the partner she writes about in. It contains serious contenders for some of my favourite poems - Rapture, Haworth, and Love all come to mind. It is difficult - probably impossible - for me to love every poem in any collection, but there were none I disliked in Rapture, which is still a significant feat.

I love Harley Quinn and this was just perfect. Harley and Ivy make such a perfect couple, they just make sense together. This comic explored their flaws and allowed both of them to grow with each other really beautifully

I liked most of the stories in Harley Quinn: Black + White + Red. They weren't all hugely special, but some were, and I found it an entertaining read.
