Heartstopper Volume 2 by Alice Oseman

I didn’t like this book as much as I liked the first which is a little disappointing but I’m still very excited to read the third volume. I also wasn’t very fond of the Harry Potter reference. It seemed kind of unnecessary to me. Other than that, the book was decent, not my favorite but it also wasn’t bad either. Basically, I’m trying to say I have mixed feelings on it but overall I still think it was pretty good.

This book gives a good amount of context on each character and how they were created.

This book lived up to all the hype it’s been getting lately. It captured my attention from the beginning and the amount of character development was so satisfying to see. The story itself was so layered and thought out that I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.

As expected, this book was just as good as the first one. Somehow everything was wrapped up nicely while still leaving room for other mysteries to be uncovered. Honestly, I enjoyed this book more than I did the first one and now I’m anxiously waiting to read the next books in the series.

I was so excited to read this book but it didn’t completely meet my expectations. It was still a good book but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the previous book in the series

I waited a few hours after finishing the book to write a review and I’m still speechless. The mystery within the plot was so layered and thoughtfully executed that I was trying to find the answers alongside the characters. There were several plot points that I wasn’t expecting and the book kept me interested from the first to the last page.

For the majority of this book I was only reading it because I wanted to continue the series. I wasn’t very interested in the plot. It felt as if there were petty issues or just a remix of the first two books in the series. The ending completely changed my opinion. After about 75% of the way through the book, things started picking up and the stakes reached the highest they’ve ever been. The last quarter of the book had me anxiously reading to get to the end & made me excited for the next book to be released.
