I read this book for a few book challenge prompts. I didn’t know anything about it when I started the book. The book wasn’t overly enjoyable for me and I found myself anxious for it to end. I typically don’t like memoirs so I’m attributing my lack of enjoyment to that not the quality of the book. The writing was decent and it was easy to follow the story. I just don’t prefer memoirs.

I’ve been interested in reading the Sherlock Holmes series for a while and finally got around to it. I listened to the audiobook and it was pretty dense. The audiobook was very short which made it more bearable to read but I still feel like I didn’t get much from listening to it. I may reread this as an ebook or physical book. It was enjoyable but not enough to give it 5 stars.

I’ve been so excited to read this book and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I love how Elle Cosimano ended the book in a way that the plot feels resolved but also sets up for the next book in the series. There were so many plot twists that I didn’t see coming in this book, which made the book even more enjoyable. I can’t wait for the next book.

This book was a refreshing twist on your classic World War II novel. I liked that we got to see the women that impacted the war and all that it entailed for them. I didn’t see the plot twist coming. However, there were some things in the book that I found unnecessary.

This book was really good. The only issue was that at some parts I was bored. Other than that I really liked the book. I wasn’t expecting the plot twist at all and everything was resolved really well.

This was my first real slow burn romance. At first I liked it a lot but as the story went on I began to not ship the endgame couple as much.

I randomly saw this book on my library’s website and knew nothing about it when I started reading it. This was such a great book and I’m glad it found its way to me. Mason Buttle is a neurodivergent child who just deserves everything good this world can offer. The story follows Mason’s style of storytelling and while it isn’t traditional, it’s meaningful and deserves the time and attention from its audience that it took to create it.

This book definitely had some gems in it but I feel like it was very hyped so it did fall flat for me. I’m not very into self-help or nonfiction books but this was enjoyable and I’d read it again.

10/10 the best book I’ve read this year. I knew almost instantly that this book would be a new favorite of mine and I was right. I loved the storyline and the characters. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
