i really enjoyed the idea of this book. the first few chapters really gave me something to think about. but quickly, it just started repeating itself. how many ways can you say “don’t take things too seriously” probably could have been condensed into a blog post

oh my goodness. i loved this book so much. the only thing keeping this from being a 5/5 is that there were a lot of characters to keep track of, and i found that difficult. i truly enjoyed reading, it though! excited to read more of amy tan’s work :)
