The emotional and plot twists and turns are delightful and challenging. Not giving anything away is tough with this one, but I'll just say the old man's memories are so well written, it's as if you are in the mind of a man who has felt his life slowly drift. And interspersed, the characters who he has loved, the friendships he wished he had, and the girl trying to uncover the mystery.

This might have been my favorite in this series. We finally get to know Nesta and all her flaws, insecurities, fears and hopes, strengths and weaknesses. She is far from perfect, but she feels real and that is a refreshing twist to the perfect fantasy girl trope.

This might be my favorite in the series. I love the focus on recovery. Despite us being in the land of fairies, the trauma recovery felt real, the respect for everyone's process beautiful.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
I don't think I can do this trope. Maybe I'm just not a romance queen, but this feels so over the top and ridiculous. Good for folks that love the romance novels. I can't do it!
