Blindness by José Saramago

The book was well written in regards to description and the flow of the story. It had me on the edge of my seat through most of the book wanting to know what was going to happen next or how the characters were going to deal with the next situation. The book also got me thinking "what if" as well. The situation is a totally real situation.

What I made it a hard read for me is the lack of punctuation and sentence structure. Oh man... I felt like I had to read some parts over to keep track of who was thinking/saying what. BUT it also kind of went with the flow of the book... Chaos.

I was disappointed in the end as they never explained why the doctor's wife never became blind (of course I know there needed to be at least one character not blind for the book to move forward). And the end where people just suddenly started seeing was kind of anticlimactic in my opinion. Who knows.... its not like they could have stumbled upon a cure but after being so into the book it left me a little meh.

Very interesting read. I'm always interested in other people's beliefs and how they grew up/lived. This book def peeked my attention and kept me intrigued and taught me about the inner workings of a big controlling "organization" and reminded me of a time when I was part of a similar "organization".

This book kept me laughing with her raw honesty and quirkiness. I recommend this book if you're looking for a quick read to make you laugh.

A good read. It speaks on a very human level and how everything can just fall apart and then come back together.

Its hard to rate this book. It was well written and I loved each character as they came into the story but because I was meeting new characters each chapter it was difficult to invest my emotions.

Very interesting and intriguing read. It was a real eye opener of how people and work and jump from system to system.

It was an amusing read. There was a serious under lying tone but had it laced with humor in the front.

Pretty good I suppose. By the end of the book I was over their "issues" and "arguing" but this was a much better read than 50 Shades.

Interesting read. I learned a lot out the history of running and how we got to where we are today. Good inspiration for restarting C25K
