The Netflix version is by far much better. In the book, things happen much differently with entirely (and often lacking) motives. In the book Penelope’s doesn’t nearly get the beautiful ending that the Netflix series did, or even the level of character development. Book Penelope’s deserved so much more.

Tbh I didn’t like how much pop culture she tried to add into such a deep, fantasy world. Always threw me off and made me not like the MC. 
But yea I didn’t mean to get this as an audiobook and had no idea this book was so spicy LMFAO.

I don’t say this lightly… this is now my favorite book of all time. I admittedly I didn’t like the other acotar books. I hated Nesta and now I don’t think I’ll ever love a fictional character more. SJM truly took me by surprise and she did a wonderful job telling the story of Nesta.

For some reason I enjoyed this book a lot less than the first two. Nice to have a

This book felt like it was flying through intense scenes while also feeling like the longest movie you’ve ever seen.

We loveeeeee Rhysand. I literally was waiting for her to switch it up.

10/10 for the plot twist but omg she leaves so much of the world building up to the reader. Like it wouldn’t hurt you to describe this crazy world a little more.
