Paisley Hope has done it again - another hit! I managed to devour the whole book on two short flights to Spain from the UK.

Singer songwriter x ranch hand - a mix I didn’t know I needed!

It was lovely being back in silver pines and I think I’d do just about anything to visit this fictional ranch and meet this wholesome family unit!

I felt like the ‘problem’ in the novel was resolved fairly quickly but this may have been because I binged the whole book in all honesty!

I didn’t know I was craving this kind of book until I read it and just immediately clicked with it.

The characters were complete opposites yet also not. It was a pleasure to watch them develop on the page.

The author’s vocabulary was absolutely wild and I learnt some new words along the way.

There was a perfect blend of serious plot and silly jokes. They almost felt of place yet it was expertly balanced and somehow didn’t feel that way.

The first thing I did (after rating this 5 stars) was look up when the sequel is out because I need it, right now!

This book was good, but I find that the sequels to Wolfsong haven’t quite captured the same magic. I miss the intense yearning and slow-burning romance that made the first book so captivating. While there’s more action and plot development in the later books, the romance feels less impactful, likely due to the high bar set by Wolfsong.
