This book deeply explored relationships between friends, lovers, partners and family.
The main character was deeply flawed and incredibly selfish. However, the character development was amazing.
There are some sad elements to this book so please look up the trigger warnings!
I found the story to be occasionally slow going but overall a very enjoyable read.

If you love an enemies to lovers with forced proximity this is the one. Two enemies go on holiday together for a shared mission.
The book explored topics such as sexuality and addiction.
I found that this book could have been condensed and it would have made it more fast paced. However I loved the storyline.

I liked the basis of this story. I think it genuinely showed the struggles of a couple going through IVF. However, moments in the book were incredibly frustrating.
I felt that this book tried too hard to 1) be feminist (it was shoehorned)
2) funny - the amount of puns and jokes in the book is not how real people speak and annoyed me throughout. I think it also made the characters very 2D
*potential spoilers*
I wasn’t really a fan of the happy ending considering that’s not how a lot of peoples stories end with an IVF journey. I also think there would be a lot of distrust
