Didn't love this. Freida normally hits for me, but the last two I've read just didn't do it for me. This one felt more predictable and had less of her surprises that I love her books for.

A solid meh. Not a bad premise but the way it got there made me want to throw the book at least three times 😐

I loved parts of this and the end was a bit, meh, for me. I LOVED the way it started and the premise. Some parts of it fell super flat for me though.

This was a slow burn plot for me, it built up as I went. I enjoyed the ending a lot. It is a completed trilogy and I'm looking forward to the next book.

I really liked it... Then I hated it... Then I liked it again. Freida got me again. I really like her books. This is my least favorite so far though.

This was a very intense and interesting read. It is deep and poetic. There were times I wish I was more straightforward.

This was so much fun! Fantasy murder mystery with witty, interesting characters. Great world building.
