Definitely an incredibly tense and ultra-violent kind of book. The imagery is pretty disturbing (particularly if you’re squeamish) but it paints such a vivid picture.

I do love Sally Rooney, but this book was definitely the weakest I’ve read. I found it difficult to empathise with the characters and it definitely took a while to get used to the structure. Still, a pleasant enough read.

I wish there had been a little more time for each of the girl’s stories to converge and have more time and resolution for each
(especially Miho, I wanted to see her vengeance!)
but it was a really wonderful book!
