Se você gosta de memes, metalinguagem, narrativa sem pé nem cabeça, personagens sem desenvolvimento, textos que parecem mensagens trocadas depois de fumar 2 pastelões gigantes... esse livro é pra você. Pra mim, não foi.

For me, Janina is a childish and absolutely unbearable old lady, the ending was predictable, the lengthy discussions on astrology were irrelevant (and after the 1st one, I skipped all of them), but I really liked the author's description of mundanity, space and feelings-- that's why I'm giving 2.5 instead of 1 star.
Very show paredes, little character development and predictable dull romance

My favorite book of all times. Beautifully written, O could feel Piranesi's loneliness, his shock, his fears, but also his trust in the House, his gratitude for the little things.
Despite so many doubts and difficulties, Piranesi always remains true to himself, to the House, and to his kindness. It really made me reflect on the things I take for granted, myself included.
The world building and the plot twist were elements I wasn't expecting to enjoy so much. It took me a while to finish it but just because I didn't want it to end.
