i cried and any book that makes me cry gets 5 stars🫶🏽 but honestly it was a very well written ya novel that touched on the impacts of parents in minority groups and how generational trauma affects their children. and a beautiful story of fate and first love🥰 a love that didn’t feel like just “young love” but a connection that will last a lifetime.

Needed more slow burn, obsessed with each other so early on. 3rd act breakup was also annoying and could’ve been avoided with a simple conversation. But i appreciated it being initiated by the girl for once.
