Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams

I had just finished reading The Rule Book right before I started this, which I said was my favorite Sarah Adams book and I immediately had to retract that statement. THIS is my favorite book.

Emily Walker is hands down one of the most relatable FMCs to me. As an oldest daughter who holds in her emotions, this book made me feel SEEN. Her fear of people she loves leaving and of never being loved is something I feel on a personal level.

Emily and Jack’s chemistry and banter was top tier from their first interaction. They’re both petty as hell and I love them for it. I love how competitive they are with each other and I loved how we were able to see how their original rivalry developed (and changed) with the emails!

I loved being able to go back to the world of Rome, Kentucky! I missed them dearly <3

I cannot express in words how much I loved this, this book will stick with me for a long time <3

Thank you Dell Romance and NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion!

This was super cute and perfect for Christmas!

It probably took me about a good 25-30% of the book to understand the swap and really get invested. But once I did I couldn’t put it down!

This was definitely more of a slow burn than what I normally enjoy but I loved seeing how each of the people and communities were able to heal both Bee and Clover. I loved seeing Knox and Clover’s friendship strengthen even if they weren’t together anymore and seeing Bee and Beth understand each other’s feelings better.

Thank you to Avon and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

This was such a sweet book, I LOVED IT. It managed to take a lot of my favorite rom-com moments and subtly incorporate them.

I adored Sawyer. I thought she was hilarious and the perfect amount of cynical, which I love in an FMC. I loved Mason and his rose-colored glasses!! I’m a sucker for a hopeless romantic in romances and seeing it in an MMC is something I don’t see super often.

Sawyer and Mason’s chemistry was through the roof from their first interaction. Their banter was written so seamlessly, I fell in love with both of them immediately. I loved both of their character arcs, seeing both of them open up to one another and becoming friends (along with all the not so subtle flirting) was one of my favorite things about this. I loved seeing both of them find joy in their careers again and be happy!

I CANNOT wait for more from Erin. Until then, I will be thinking about the tights scene daily.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the arc in exhange for my honest opinion!
