This was so sweet and so good! Short and to the point, but still enough to make you swoon.

I went and bought Abby Jimenez books after this!

This was good! I didn't love it, but I liked it enough to keep going.

I really can't relate to a character who's personality is being perfect and has dreamed about their wedding since a child... even if they aren't a main character. But it was mentioned enough that it got super annoying. I probably would have liked this a lot better without Emma.

4.5 stars does feel a little generous, but I'm boosting it up based only on the cat content. And it did make me laugh out loud a few times.

This was SO GOOD!!! It's only January, but I already have Book of the Year vibes coming from this one.

I absolutely loved the open honesty between Win and Bo. Their banter and interactions felt so real, but they still had that great rom-com quality I love.

I was so happy exes didn't make a reappearance, and than the author gods for no third act breakup. This had my heart swooning and sighing. I would love to read more from this author 💕

Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.
I couldn't stand the main character. I wanted to love this, but she was insufferable. It felt like she was a high schooler who refused to see that she's a problem.

I won't be attempting to read this again.

I'm starting to wonder if Devney Perry isn't the best fit for me 🫤

While this was good, it kept losing my interest throughout. The mystery was okay, but I feel it could have been much better.

I loved Winslow and how sure of herself she was. She was a strong female lead and I liked how she wasn't afraid to put Griffin in his place.

Also, why does the name of the vehicle need to be said every single time it's driven?! You can say she stepped into her car, it doesn't have to be mentioned every single time that it's a Durango. Just sayin'.

This was good! I can definitely see myself reading more titles by Devney Perry, but this one was a bit lackluster in parts.

First, I wish some vague dates were included. It was a bit difficult to keep a timeline up.

Second, I just truly despise a miscommunication trope. Or in this case a lack of communication.

Third, it felt really surface level. There wasn't any meat to the sandwich. It was good, but not great.

Fourth, ladies, PLEASE do not give up your hard earned career for a man. Use your fucking brain and talk to your bosses first.

I do love a tall girl main character, though! If only the MMC wasn't 6'4" every single time...

What an amazing end for Chestnut Springs 💕 I'm not sure if I prefer this or Heartless, but they're definitely tied for my favorites.

I felt the end was a little abrupt (the extended scenes aren't in the version I read), but that is really my only complaint.

Beau and Bailey had an amazing relationship. I adored how rom-com this whole story was. I also loved the communication and no third act breakup. Our girl Elsie Silver knows how to write 'em!

I am so sad to leave this series, but cannot wait to see what comes next from this author.

This genuinely made me laugh out loud! But I wanting something more out of it. It felt a little... surface level? There wasn't a whole lot to it. No conflict or anything. Which can be great, but not what I wanted out of this.

I loved seeing Meyer get out of his shell and Farley grow her career. But I mean... there isn't a whole lot here to say.

A little disappointed, but overall don't regret reading this.

This was the perfect book to end the year on! Quick, sweet, spicy, and best of all... no unnecessary third act breakup or miscommunication!

I loved seeing Shae open up and Nick make the world better for his girls. Is it an insta-love Hallmark of a story? Yep! Did I devour it knowing what was going to happen the entire time? Yep!

There are quite a few editing errors that I was surprised made it into the final product (even some where the POV changes). Other than that, this could have been 5 stars.
