Keris/Zarrah > Aren/Lara any day. While I liked the first two books in this series, I loved this one. It was so fun seeing the way things from book 2 came to be and seeing new information come to light. I was a little confused reading about Zarrah and Keris in book two, but honestly it made me so excited to see how things happened in this one. I cannot wait to pick up the next book and see where we go from here.

Wow. I didn't really know about 8 Passengers until the final end of their story but this memoir did an excellent job detailing their rise and fall in the public light. Shari did a wonderful job with this book and I cannot even fathom what she went through. I'm so glad she had some reliable and caring adults in her life she could turn to during the worst points and I' m glad the family is finally safe. I will definitely be recommending this to everyone.

Found family AND cozy fantasy? This was so cute. I loved Tao and this story was such a good one. Can't wait to read more from this author!

I could listen to Stephen Fry read a grocery list. I really enjoyed reading Troy, although there were moments where I couldn't remember who was who. I like that this extended past The Iliad ends and I'm really looking forward to Fry's retelling of The Odyssey.

Man, I love Greek mythology. Stephen Fry does a fantastic job capturing the myths and his commentary is just so much fun. I wish there had been a few more heros involved but understood there's only so much room he had. A must read for mythology fans.

Hi, yes, I will need 3-5 business days to process this book (and a reread stat).

This was fine. I've read a decent amount of retelling and I don't know if it was Atalanta's story itself or the pacing but it just felt okay. I definitely enjoyed the first half with with fleece much more than the second half and I didn't care much for the initial romance. I enjoy the authors voice though while telling these stories and will definitely read her other retellings.

This was a fun middle-grade novel! I loved the foreshadowing in the first half of the book and liked seeing the story come together. While it wasn't my favorite, I feel like there were some moments that I really enjoyed.
