I liked the essays format, and divided by theme, everything is related to love, but added to other spheres of life: parenting, faith, death, relationships with family, etc. I liked that the author is considered a leader in the feminist movement, and that you really see that feminism is not the same as being radical.

It's always a pleasure reading Brene's books. I constantly annotate and take valuable info to apply to my everyday life from her books.

Wowza, so many feelings. Picked up this book after watching the Netflix series - I recommend doing it the other way around, since there are several big differences between both the series and the book.

This book centers around women friendship, dreams and growing up together. I felt identified in those friendships, and the relationships depicted in the book. Kristin Hannah has a talent for emotional writing, and this book will definitely bring tears to your eyes in different moments.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
Felt too slow-paced, and I did not connect with the story.

This book let me thinking a lot about life, its meaning, and how the choices we take and the times we live in affect us.
