Book 1 of 2024 is Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism by Amanda Montell. This is a great nonfiction analysis about cults and their language and what drives people to join them and also a look at modern “cults”. I really enjoyed it and found it very fascinating. I really went down the Wikipedia rabbit hole with this one. Definitely recommend to everyone because I think there are many, many people we know who easily fall for cultish language and I think more awareness would benefit us as a society. 4.5 stars.
