I was afraid that Suzanne would humanize Snow for me since it’s all written from his perspective but it was a good book at showing how you can keep a story interesting even when you know more or less what the end is going to be and with a character that we know it’s going to take the villainous decisions.

At pg 85 I just have to accept that I’m not interested in this story and that’s why I’m not actually reading anything.

I found out 2 things about myself with this book:
1. I’m not a daytime reader, I tried to read in the day so it’d be less scary but couldn’t do it. So I finished this book at 1130PM and checked my apt door a comical amount of times.
2. I might kind of like spooky books? I like the suspense of it all. Like if we rate smutty books with chiles(🌶️) we could rate spooky books with ghosts. So I’d rate this at a 👻👻/5 ghosts and I can do 2 ghosts but maybe not more?
Anywho, the book does create suspense and I did read the last 150 pages in a sitting because I had to know what happened.
Alas, at the end it ended up being men and their small small egos, like it usually is.

Fue un libro 100% palomero, como poner una serie que sabes que no ocupa toda tu atención como ruido de fondo. PERO ese era el propósito de este libro para mi, necesitaba un libro fácil de leer y este romantasy fue perfecto para eso.

I had such high hopes for this book, I was like 60% in when the romantic plot started and I only have 1 question, WHY? WHY a book about misogyny, abuse and self-empowerment has to finish with a cinderella happy ever after? The last 40% of the book felt a completely different book from the first 60%

TBH I love Evanna’s writing but it was triggering me a lot.
