At first as I read I was feeling that this book felt a bit childish if it was supposed to be set in university, but as I read the story it definitely grew on me and I was finding it very cute and I loved reading about the relationship of Kate and oz grow! Now I've finished I don't want to leave this universe and I can't wait for the next book!

This is the first book I've read of this vibe and at first it was just really confusing and I never really engaged with it and got close to dnfing. But as I read on I did start to enjoy what I was reading. I liked how I was reading about the life of a family as their lives progress while living in the house, both the joys as well as the quite depressing parts and the struggles that they went through. I also felt for the characters as their stories played out and was glad to read the pretty satisfying ending that this book has.

This book was truly something, I just wish I had the brain capacity to actually understand it half the time. It took way too long for a solid plot to come around which I can understand was for world building but like 200 pages?? Other than that when it got going it really got going and it was a beautiful world with a great plot and characters that (once I worked out who everyone actually was) I really liked and I was interested in how their stories played out!

So I don't really know how to feel about this book. After the first couple chapters it had me wanting to read on but as I did it just kept going more downhill as it went on. It just seemed a bit too slow then a bit too fast all the way through and only really picked up again the last 50 pages of the book to a point where I was decently enjoying what I was reading.

I thought this was a decent book. I liked the idea of it and how the pov kept going from past to present to give more context to Harriet and Wyn's relationship and how it ended and the progression of them improving their relationship as the book went on. However, for me the plot was pretty average to read about and there was just something that wasn't really there for me, I just don't know what. It also at points kind of bored me a little but luckily not enough for me to hate the book as a whole.

I loved how this book gave us an insight into life before a good girls guide to murder actually happened. Even though the plot of the book was a murder mystery game, it still showed the characters personalities through that. I also loved the end with the nod to everything leading to the start of agggtm and pips thought process to her deciding on her epq topic.

So.. now I've got another book on my list of books that made me ugly cry 😅 I loved reading the plot of powerless but from Adena's pov as well as seeing her relationship develop throughout the book. Adena and Mak are actually so cute and I love them which is probably what made her death hurt even more, especially given the fact that I completely forgot it happened in powerless. Now I absolutely cannot wait to read reckless!

The book started off really good and I really enjoyed it, however the story just started getting slower in it's progression as if everything was rushed a bit towards the start. It also felt like in the middle of the book there was just something that wasn't there for me. Saying that though, the MC's relationship and how it progresses in the story was very cute to read about and I loved how it all came to an end at the end of the book.

The book started off pretty slow and gives quite a bit of information off at once to the reader. However once the story actually gets going it had me not wanting to put it down and needing to know what will happen next. The plot twists were pretty surprising when the book got to them towards the end and the questions the book had me asking once I'd finished reading just makes me want more from this universe!!

This was one of the best books I've read for a few months! Everything about the story was so cute, including both the mcs and their relationship. Also I'm in love with Frederick omg!!! I loved reading the development of their relationship and also how the story played itself out with Frederick both learning how to live in the modern era but also the parts of his life he kept hidden from Cassie. It's definitely going to have me thinking about it for a good while now 😂
