I have loved this series so much and I'm sad to see it end. The story was the perfect wrap up, although I do wish we got to see more of the after. The new business, Mason and Keira, Zoe...I would have loved to see more after they finally got to live normal lives (or as normal as a ghost seeing girl and her friends can be). I found this one to be a bit less exciting as the others and the big takedown almost felt disappointing....I guess I just wanted more overall, especially ghost wise. I felt like this one focused so much on Artec that we didn't get that usual ghost helping story. There was a ghost helping storyline, it just felt different compared to the rest of the series. It was still a fun and cozy story, just like the others and I'm happy with how everything turned out. I would love to see these characters again one day!

This started out kind of slow for me but when it picked up, I was on the edge of my seat. It just never kept up the momentum, I felt like it kept switching from slow to fast paced and back to slow. The twists I kept trying to guess, but I was almost never right and I had no clue how the story was actually going to end. I did figure out one of the twists but it was hinted at early on. The ending was super satisfying, although I do wish there was more to it. It just ended too abruptly for my liking. Overall, it was a fun thriller that took me on a roller-coaster of twists and turns.

I'm a huge fan of Julie Clarks' previous books, so I was so excited to get my hands on this one early! It did not disappoint! It was a slow burn but it kept me reading and having to know what had really happened that fateful night in the 70s. There were times where it seemed a little too slow paced but it picked back up. I really enjoyed the POVs, Olivia's today and Vincent and Poppy back then. I wasn't a huge fan of her dad at the beginning, it seemed like he was hiding so much. As the story went on and we learned more, I started to understand and connected with his character.  It was definitely a rollercoaster with twists and turns I did not expect. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a slow burn domestic thriller that will keep you guessing, especially if you like secrets, because these characters have a lot of them.
