I have to say it, sorry. SOLANGELO, STEP ON ME, PLS AND THAK YOU. also, PERCY?????? aaaaahhh, I already miss him and annie :(((((
okay okay, coming back to the book. I literally couldn't stand apolo in the first half of the book. so freaking annoying, and so was meg. apollo's cabin, nico and percy were the best part even though apollo ended up growing on me at the end of the book. he is so funny for no reason. furthermore, special mention to harley, he was adorable and leo, I already missed him

wow....this was a very nice ending for the series.
fist of all, things that I didn't like:
-percabeth not having the protagonism they deserve
-percabeth being too weak. I mean, ik they were in the tartarus....but cmon. they're percy and annabeth
next, things that I loved:
-nico.
-how nico and Rayna's relationship evolved
-nico and will. OMG. they were absolutely AMAZING
-percy joking around. I missed that percy throughout this series and it was nice to see him coming back
-apolo
-Leo's story even though I would have enjoyed it more if Rick didnt let his story hanging
-the Greeks
-coach hedge

however, the beginning of the book was a little meh but the end is what made me give it the rating I gave the book. I will be definitely continuing with the trials of apolo even though I will miss percy and annabeth a lot. overall, I think that I liked more PJO as a series but I also think that I enjoyed HoO more as books individually.  idk if it makes sense

i liked this book but i can also complain about several things.
percabeth's story was so cool but I felt like they were losing protagonism. during this series percy and annabeth had been less and less important as the books followed by and I didn't liked that. I also felt like, in Mark of Athena, all the characters relationships between each other were complexly evolving and this book followed this pattern EXCEPT with the rest of the group and percabeth. I mean, I felt that, as they were in the tartarus, when they came back like they were out of the friendship equation.
moving into better things....NICO. that's it. i LOVE nico (even though I didn't enjoy his way of acting around percy. I know his situation and feelings are hard to manage but I think that nico and percy would be the ultimate friendship). furthermore, I could really see how trully powerful percy is. that really amused me even though I already knew that he was very powerful. moreover, I really enjoyed the other 5's tests, if I can call it like that. I really liked the dynamic that everyone could prove themselves and their purpose there. I had to admit that I didn't see the purpose of piper, Frank and hazel; but those scenes changed my mind. I also loved hedge. HE WAS AMAZING. we couldn't really see him in the previous book (and in Mark of Athena he was pretty annoying), but I really liked him in this book. plus....Grover's cameo??????? I really miss him. well, him and the other PJO characters (clarisse, silena, Grover, tyson, etc) furthermore, I also appreciated Leo's and calypso's story, it was pretty marvelous. nonetheless, I already knew that percy and Jason were two sides of the same coin; however, Frank's POV made me think that Lee and him aren't so different from each other. I will definitely continue this series tho

oh my god. i LOVED this book. it was absolutely PERFECT. it was perfectly balanced. percabeth, percy and Jason's relationship, how everyone ended up overcoming their differences, NICO,.... oh my goodness, it was MARVELOUS. definitely a 5 star read and, obviously, I will be continuing the series. AMAZING.
(also trying to ignore piper's wasted potential as an aphrodite girl. she was such a pick me. ugh, internalize mysoginy be like. nonetheless, I loved her)

omg, i missed percy soooo much!!!! literally love him, and he came with Tyson too even if it was only for a bit!!! Nonetheless, I didn't like the first half of the book, it was too boring for me. until the last half of the book, I wasn't really enjoying the read. I prefer the Greeks over the Roman by far and the way that the amazons were written was awful. however, it was nice having percy as mc again and it was suuuper nice seeing nico even if it was for a very tiny bit (sadly). I will definitely continue with this saga and I'm already excited about annabeth and percy reuniting again!!!!

okay, WOW. I didn't see the plot twist coming.
anyway, I really disliked Jason at the beginning and piper was a little pick me girl in the beginning too however I ended up liking them more or less. i don't had that problem with leo though. I missed Percy A LOT and annabeth looked like a 30 year old woman instead of a 16 year old girl. this book was sold to me as more percabeth but apparently it didn't even had percy on it. nonetheless, I really liked it even though if I disliked the first half of it.

omg, this is definitely my favorite book of the series. everything was perfect. Rick didn't let you have a moment of peace, event after event, Luke's
redempion
, how everything wrapped up, us getting rid of Rachel (ugh, I can't stand her), thalia, the evolution of percabeth's relationship, NICO,.....omg. I just loved it. I wasn't sure at the beginning of it was going to be a 5 star read (I thought it wouldn't be so memorable, so I'd have to give it 4 and something) but it definitely was. loved this book and will continue with the heroes of Olympus.

omg, i love nico di angelo. that's it.
well, it is not hahahah. I liked this book and how annabeth and Percy's relationship is evolving even though I don't like that annabeth is losing protagonism in the series. Grover and Tyson are as good as always but I didn't like Rachel at all and calypso's introduction felt a bit forced.

wow, i think this might be the best book of the series (well, at least, the best book from the three books I've read). the plot was so interesting and, even though there weren't any plot twists (which I usually value A LOT in a book), I loved it. I couldn't stand thalia at the beginning even though I ended up liking her and I wish there was more annabeth time than it was but it's ok I guess. and nico?????? absolutely LOVED him even though I can't say the same thing about Bianca :////

i think i will repeat myself with this book and the previous one:
i liked this book, but everyone does apparently. the characters were loveable, the plot was interesting and so was the plot twist. however, I kind of felt that something was missing. maybe is the fact that it is a kid's book, but idk. I will be definitely continuing the series though.
HOWEVER, i really enjoyed the tyron-bullying overcoming dynamic. it's nice to know that little kids will learn that bullying people for just being different (or just any reason at all) is not okay.
