I just finished the show (which I really liked) and thus decided to continue the comics. I liked this one, there were a lot of cute scenes but my main critique is that the pacing is really really fast. It feels like I have less time to bond with the characters. I do want to mention that I'm incredibly happy this story will be there to support people through their queer awakenings, whether that be the show or the comic. Maybe this would've hit harder for me if I read it when I was first figuring things out.

Any ambiguity or nonconformity, especially in relation to gender, conjurers terror. This is precisely why men are afraid of me. Why women are afraid of me, too.
But your fear is not only hurting me, it's hurting you, limiting you from being everything you could be.

An informative, reflective and challenging read that combines autobiographical stories with gender theory seamlessly.

I would recommend this text to anyone. We can all learn from this and we should all learn from this, to be frank.

This is a really special book that I needed to read. I'm so grateful it exists. This will help so many people. That's all I can say right now. Might write a full review later.

Why does this this exist? This feels like badly written fan fiction. And by badly, I mean terrible. Also, queer bating.

America Singer is the most annoying character you'll ever read about. That's all.
