This book was painful to get through. It was well written at times but it was confusing and seemed like it was supposed to be fast passed but was excruciatingly slow

This book felt a bit drawn out for a conclusion but it is also a very complex world that needed to be drawn out. There is

a lot of what feels like unnecessary deaths but it is about war so that may just be me

. It also felt like the way things were left was a bit open-ended I wanted more of a wrap-up for the characters

This book was a good quick read but also handled a touchy subject in a very very odd way. Character development was meh at best and some points characters did things that went completely against their established character traits.
