When I first started reading 'The Great Gatsby' I really had to force myself through the first few pages but once the plot really started developing I couldn't put the book down. The style in which Fitzgerald wrote this story made everything feel so incredibly magical and special. This is the type of book I could pick up over and over again, and love it every single time.

When I picked up this book my expectations were quite high, as it is a classic and well known book that I have previously heard so much about. I couldn't even get past the fifth chapter because I found it so incredibly boring.

This book captivated me to the fullest. The love story between Theodore and Violet had me crying my eyes out. The writing style of Jennifer Niven and her detailed descriptions made me feel such a connection to the characters, as I could visualize every single scene perfectly.

The Goldfinch deals with a very interesting storyline that I haven't really explored in literature before. The whole book was quite enjoyable to read even though I felt as though the plot took a very long time to fully develop, but as the climax arrived and the end was displayed, I was captivated and impressed.

The novel portrayed a very interesting storyline. Sadly, I was very confused by all the shifts of perspectives which made me loose interest in reading. Overall "the First Lady" is an interesting book to pick up, when in need of a new read.

I've read this book a total of five times. whenever I am out of anything to read, i often find myself picking up John Green's best story (in my opinion). I am able to finish the book in a matter of hours and it never fails to leave me an emotional mess, as he is able to create such a strong connection between reader and characters.

Without a doubt one of my new favorites! The whole storyline is extremely well crafted but especially the last quarter left me an emotional wreck as the author made it possible to connect with the characters on an extremely deep level, even if one might have not had experience with the pain the characters have experienced. I also enjoyed all the philosophical questions that were posed:
