This book I think is a good one in that it took a tragedy from one perspective and tried to tease that out. The prose was beautiful and thought out but the underlying question of the writers true intentions were murky though I suspect that's why you're sniffing around here. He remembers her in the way she seemed complex and I do think I grew from this book. It's shameful but somehow that shame is what endured me the most. Human feelings are hard and something like this happening to in your life I think something noble would flatten it.
