I was recommended this book a few times and wanted to see what the hype was about. I was aware that the book talked about racism and was written by a POC -
but perhaps I went in with the wrong expectations.
I felt like the book only touched the tip of the iceberg and had the opportunity to delve deeper into the racism issues. Felt myself pushing through the book but being disappointed with it overall.

Good read but probably wouldn’t recommend it to others because of the implications it has for perceptions of mental health / mental health work.
