Aquaman and Mera had always been one of my favorite couple in the DC universe. The power of their relationship in exceptional!
It was interesting to see how Aquaman is defending his people, taking risks, and struggling to keep the balance between the land and sea, even though some people saw him as a menace.
The ending showed a villain we all somehow knew previously, but I was shocked to read what was actually his upcoming plan!

I think this issue is more of a memorial to the recent fallen Superman in the New 52, we've seen here the Black Suit Superman and his friend Lana. It's pretty much linking the end of the New 52 to the beginning of the Rebirth series.
Not much happened here though, but I'm optimistic about this new Superman. We'll see how it goes!

I thought that this is the official first issue of Batman Rebirth, but it's actually not.
The story is very basic yet interesting, but I can't really judge at this point till I read at least the official one. So it was ok so far.
Overall, I'm really liking all those DC Rebirths issues!
