Started off fun and whimsical. Described as a cross between some horror movie and snow white, and sadly, that is all this was. The main character was insipid and forgettable, so much so that her "despite everything, it's still you!" moment was completely overshadowed by the melanie martinez mrs potato head preachy tone. I really wanted to like this book.
