It is always difficult to read true crime stories as we know this bizarre stuff actually happened to someone!  This is the story of one of the worst mothers there has been. I hate the suffering she put everyone through. How they get sucked into her lies and keep staying with her. So tragic.

Wow!  I was already recommending this book before I was halfway finished!  This book was twisty and intense!  Two women meet on a plane. One is heading to a business trip while the other is escaping a bad relationship. Once at their destination both women mysteriously go missing. Something sinister has happened as family, friends and coworkers follow the clues.

Wow!  When the werewolves aren’t the only things hunting the &$@! hits the fan!  This “family” for werewolves try their best to fit in within the world around them. After a slip up they decide it is time to move to a more secluded area. Unbeknownst to them they are no longer the hunters but have become the hunted.

This was a great creepy book. When Ruth (mom) gets kicked out of her nursing home her daughter takes in the burden of her care. What she is taking on is much more than she expected.

I am a sucker for any book about a dog. This gives you a view of what happens to dogs who are put in shelters. I was worried it might have a sad ending. A must read for dog lovers.

This novella has a lot put inside a very quick read. Family drama, unapproved relationships, secret plans and more. I enjoyed it.

This book was a pick for one of my book clubs. It was a pretty good psychological thriller. A killer is using a list from a bookstore owner of the 8 perfect murder books. 

Growing Up Urkel by Jaleel White

I grew up watching Jaleel in Family Matters. I saw him in other shows growing up. It was really enjoyable to hear his voice on the audiobook about his life. It always surprises me what child actors experience as they navigate the business.

This memoir was a great read/listen. I love when audiobooks are read by the author. Rob did a fantastic job of describing an experience he had with a specific person then sharing who they became that we as readers would know. I didn’t realize all the things or the people he was with. His life is very interesting.
