A little slow for me at the beginning but then I got into it more. Overall I enjoyed the book. A very interesting premise and world set up, with great characters, im definitely interested to read the rest of the series.

Overall I really enjoyed the book. I watched the show adaptation first and wanted to see how it compares. There were quite a few line for line quotes from the book used in the show, but there was also a lot of the story and character details they changed for the show. However I like the way the adapted this for the show and the changes make sense to me. I do wish this book had an epilogue at the end. I felt like it kind of ended abruptly and I wanted just a little more information on the main characters. That said, this was a fun and fast read.

Loved this! I started this book so long ago but I’m so glad I came back around to finish it! A cute, lighthearted, funny YA rom-com! I loved every second of it!

This was a really fun read! I never read the series when I was younger so I am reading through them now as an adult and so far have found them just as enjoyable. I love the main characters and I am looking forward to seeing how they grow and change throughout the series!

This was a the perfect fun, lighthearted, and steamy read to start the year off with. It had a lot of funny and witty little moments through out which I loved. Dex and Winnie are so good together and Dex’s daughters are adorable. This is an age gap romance, he is 34 and she is 22. I don’t mind the age gap, but I did feel like sometimes the story harped on that point more than necessary. Dex is a firefighter but the storyline does not center around his job or any grief/trauma that can come along with a job like that. The story focuses on Dex and Winnie both evolving as people to overcome personal traits they feel are holding them back from what they want in life and from each other. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I plan on continuing this series.

I loved the first the book, Legendborn, so much. I credit it, and Tracy Deonn, for being the book that made me fall in love with reading again. So I have been very excited for Book 2 for so long! And let me tell you, it blew me away! Bloodmarked takes everything I loved from the first book and expands on it so beautifully. The world of Bree gets so much bigger and opens up some really interesting new avenues for the storyline to follow. I felt like the characters had really interesting arcs and developed throughout the story along with some action packed high intensity moments that had me on the edge of my seat! I loved the group dynamic with Bree, Sel, Alice, and William so much. I love Nick so much too! The ending for this one left me distraught in the best way possible. I can’t wait to get my hands on book 3 and see what’s happening with all my favorite characters. I highly, highly recommend reading this series!
