Legendborn was the best book I have read in a very long time, and might just be my new favorite book ever! It had everything I could want in a book. Absolutely EVERYTHING! Go read it right now!! Tracy Deonn pulled me into the story right off the bat with the very vivid way she described the characters and set the scenes. When I got to the end (and man oh man those last 100 pages...wow!) I wanted to start the whole book over again and I am not usually the kind of person who rereads books, but I know I will definitely be rereading Legendborn, especially before the sequel comes out. I loved the characters so much and I loved learning about their stories, history, and struggles. There is very real and raw trauma dealt with in this story and it is done so well. I went through so many emotions reading this book, but it was all so worth it. I also loved the little sprinkle of some pop culture nerdy references thrown in occasionally throughout the book. They made me smile! The world building for this story was amazing and so well thought out. I felt like I was right there in the middle of the action in this magical world. Bree, Nick, and Selwyn, I will love them forever and I am very much looking forward to reading more of their story!

I was so pleasantly surprised with this book. I started reading it on a whim after being drawn in by one of those random Facebook romance book app ads. I read the first chapter then followed the link to read the rest (found out later I could have just got in on Amazon but oh well). But I really loved this! It definitely has the spice, but the story was also so beautiful and compelling and I loved all the characters. I definitely want to check out the other books in this series. It reminded me of a modern day, small town, “Bridgerton” style story. I really like the set up of all the different siblings and the different books exploring their own stories. I really enjoyed this and would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book, I haven’t read a lot of Fantasy genre so I don’t have too much to compare or contrast to, but I loved the characters and the world building and yes of course the Darkling that is both so good and so bad, my favorite kind of character. I’m really excited to start the next book and continue this series!

The beginning was exciting, the end was crazy, the middle felt a little bit slow to me, but overall I really enjoyed it and I’m excited to start book 3 now!

This was so good!! I loved it! Definitely my favorite of the trilogy! It had more of everything I loved from the first two books, more of the character dynamics I loved, more humorous moments, more found family vibes, and more Nikolai! I really enjoyed this whole trilogy and I’m excited to read more of the Grishaverse, Six of Crows is up next!
