This book was okay. It was fairly well-written but parts were confusing, and the honorifics attached to names were hard to remember.

This book was amazing. It delves into some hard-hitting themes of love, loss, jealousy and grief. Our main character Griffin loses the love of his life, Theo, after Theo moves to the West Coast for college and begins dating Jackson. Theo dies (not a spoiler, I promise!), and Griff and Jackson find themselves needing to lean on one another to heal. They are the only two who understand what the other is going through, and through this period of trial and tribulation, new friendships are formed. This book also deals with themes of mental illness, compulsions, and anxiety which I greatly appreciated. 100% would recommend to anyone!

I read this book in 3 hours. So, SO good! Can't wait to see the movie when it comes out. :)

This book was decent. The concept was very cool but I wish it had explored and focused on some slightly different themes. Still worth a shot if you are looking for something a little different in your next YA read.

Just as captivating as a screenplay as it was on the big screen! For those looking to get more out of the Harry Potter world, I highly, highly recommend!

This was a decent book! I've heard lots of great things about this series. While I enjoyed the first installment, my gut tells me that this series can only be fully appreciated after having read it in its entirety. I look forward to seeing what the final 3 books have to offer.

This book was solid. The concept was cool, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of the insta-love that took place. Also I feel like I have a ton more questions about the Lowlands. If this novel turns into a series I look forward to getting more detail and backstory on the world in general and learning more about X's background.

This book is best described by me as 'meh'. The concept was interesting but it just took forever to get through. The pacing was much slower than I'm used to and it dragged on so much I simply lost interest. I didn't DNF the novel, but if you find you aren't enjoying it I would recommend doing so and move onto something else.

I really enjoyed this book overall. I didn't love it, but it was overall an enjoyable read. Although I don't plan to run out and get Windwitch right away (the next installment), I may read it in the future if I ever want to revisit this world.

Really enjoyed this read! Basically the Harry Potter story with a few twists, and slightly different villains.
