An interesting story for sure! Well worth the read if you're interested in trying something a little different in YA.

This book reminded me strongly of Alice in Wonderland. Incredibly whimsical, fantastical, and full of adventure and nonsense. Great middle-school read for all the young people in your life who enjoy a little magic in their reads. :)

First off, the cover for this book is my absolute favorite. GORGEOUS!

I enjoyed Whichwood more than Furthermore, and was glad to see Alice and Oliver continue their adventures, grow as characters, and pick up some new friends along the way. A wonderfully written middle-grade novel!

A solid start to a wonderful adventure! Parallel Londons, magic, politics, and spunky protagonists. Looking forward to reading A Gathering of Shadows next.

This book was quite spectacular! I can feel the buildup to a grand finale coming in the third and final book in this trilogy!

This was a unique novel! The quote on the cover from the Chicago Tribune says it best, "An enthralling adventure and a beautiful, expansive meditation on the act of reading."

If you pick this book up, pay close attention to the page numbers as you read. :)

This is one of my new favorite books penned by one of my new favorite authors! Jay Kristoff has a way with words that takes his readers on a long and eventful journey deep into this world of his creation. Highly, highly recommend! Know that this book will take you a while to finish. It doesn't look like a very large book but there is a lot of text that will take you some time to work your way through. Don't let this intimidate you, though. It's well worth your time.

Book 2 was just as delightful as Book 1!!! Highly recommend this series. The 3rd book (name not yet released) should be coming out Sept 2018. Can't wait!
